Ocacroke (o-ka-croke)
A funny named place but a nice little day trip. We got up super early and drove to a Ferry that we rode for 2.5hours and got off on the southern part of the Outer Banks called Ocacroke. We saw the oldest working lighthouse in NC and the 2nd oldest in the nation. The rest of the day we went to the beach, had lunch, walked around the sea side village, shopped then caught the ferry home. It was a very nice day even though I think we are all still tired.

How was the ferry ride, were you able to see any special fish or lots of boats?
Do you remember taking the ferry from Daulphin Island to Gulf Shores w/ Mawmaw and Pawpaw? It was awhile ago. :)
